Hi, can anyone tell me how quickly you have to eat a mousse after making it? I know shakes need to be finished within 15mins but wonder if the mousse mix "stablises" the vitamins and minerals?

no as it is still made with water so some of the vitamins may be lost after 15 mintues , so the rule still applies I am afraid

Try using a little bit more Mousse powder or a little less water, and it should set within 15mins. x

The vits and minerals are a minor problem as very little gets lost. But still......

It's mainly the texture that changes and of course, that's not so much of a concern with MAM

Even so, best to make with less water (making sure the water is very, very cold before mixing) and try to keep within the 15 mins

I find if you put the water in the freezer for 20 mins .. then mix up and put in fridge or freezer for 5-10 mins it sets brilliant :)
