My Slimming World Diary :D

So this is my very first post hopefully of many ....

I am Emma, 25 years old and 13st11.5lb.
I started Slimming world on the 27th February and I feel like I am getting on well, losing 8lb so far in 3 weeks. I am using this to keep in control of my syns and to look back on my progress. Feel free to comment if I get something wrong or have any tips :).

Todays Food is as Follows:

Breakfast:
Frozen Raspberries (S)
Strawberry Muller Light (F)

Snack:
2 cups of coffee (Some of my HEA)
1 Rocky Road HiFi Bar (1/2 of my HEB)

Lunch:
Jacket Potato (F)
Smoked Salmon (F)
Beetroot (F)
Tomatoes (S)
Cucumber (S)
5 x Laughing Cow Mini Cravings (2 1/2 syns)

Snack:
1 cup of coffee (Some of my HEA)

Dinner:
3 x Quorn Sausages (3 syns)
Tinned tomatoes (S)
Mushrooms (S)
Spinach (S)
2 x Eggs (F)

Snack:
1 cup of coffee (Some of my HEA)
1 Chocolate Orange HiFi Bar (1/2 of my HEB)

Total Syns: 5 1/2

So this evening, instead of binging on rubbish (which I normally do when the other half is out), I have made a big batch of vegetable soup to take to work for lunch this week. My main problem is failing to prepare so this should keep me on track!
 
So today was another good day :)

Breakfast:
Frozen Raspberries (S)
Cherry Muller Light (F)
35g Porridge Oats (HEB)

Lunch:
Homemade vegetable soup (S)
(Onions, Garlic, Chilli, Ginger, Carrot, BNS, Leek, Mushrooms, Broccoli, Spinach, Chicken Stock, Chopped tomatoes)

Snacks:
Original Hula Pufts (3 1/2 syns)
5x Cups of coffee with milk (HEA) - One of the coffee's my boss put a sugar in by accident (1 syn)

Dinner:
Monk Fish (F)
Cous Cous (F)
Mushrooms (S)
Asparagus (S)

Total Syns: 4 1/2

Finishing the day with a salted caramel green tea.

Looking forward to my swim in the morning, I am finally getting back into it after slipping a disc in my back in October :(
On wards and upwards ....
 
So I got up this morning at 5am to go for a swim before work.
I need to remember to pack more food in my bag after swimming as I have been soooo hungry all day :S

Breakfast:
2x Hifi Bars - Rocky road/Orange Chocolate (HEB)
Apple (S)

Lunch:
Homemade vegetable soup (S)
Apple (S)
2x Eggs (F)
Bernard Matthews BBQ Chicken breast (F)

Snacks:
5x Cups of coffee with milk (HEA)

Dinner:
Salmon Fillet (F)
Noodles (F)
Sugar snap peas (S)
Baby corn (F)
1 tsp runny honey (1 syn)
1 tsp (1/2 syn)
Soy sauce (F)

Snack:
Options Café Latte hot chocolate (2 syns)

I have also had 3 litres of water today.

Total Syns: 3 1/2

I tend not to have too many syns during the week as I don't really count at the weekend.
I mean, I do try and make the right choices but I just don't keep track.
 
I had a great food day yesterday until I got too hungry waiting for dinner and spoilt it, I was so gutted.

Breakfast:

Snack:
Apple (S)
3x Cups of coffee with milk (HEA)

Lunch:
Sweet and sour mug shot (F)
Original hula hoop pufts (3 1/2 syns)

Dinner:
Harvester skinny half chicken (I ate the skin :S)
Gravy
2x Bowls of salad (includes pasta, potato salad and honey and mustard dressing)
3x Mini Bread rolls

Gutted about yesterday, I counted it as my whole days syns and started again today. This is something that I'm not good at.

So far today .....

Breakfast:
Frozen Raspberries (S)
Strawberry Muller Light (F)
35g Porridge Oats (HEB)

Lunch:
Pub ham ploughmans
(Ham (F), Salad (S), Pickled onions (F), Pickled Gherkins (F), Pickle (1 syn), White bread (I'm counting 7 syns))

Snack:
3x Cups of coffee with milk (HEA)

Dinner:

I haven't had dinner yet, we are going out as my other half is tiling the kitchen floor and needs to put PVA glue down to dry. Oh what a shame! haha
Weigh in tomorrow morning though so I will be really good and have either steak or fish and salad.
 
It helps to eat your whole syn allowence sometimes. People who eat 1-5 syns for the day often find a slower weight loss and sometimes binge eat or give up because their body feels deprived. Don't feel guilty about using all your syns :)
 
You are correct about the binge eating :( I've been really busy at work as well as star week and a chest infection and I have managed to put on half the weight I lost, in a week!! :mad: I now feel really annoyed at myself but I am determined to get it off next week. From tomorrow I am on a mission, SP days only! Wish me luck, I need to loose the 4 1/2 lb that I gained!!
