ok so im doing a yummy sunday roast with all the trimmings today
were having roast pork joint (all fat removed) spread with mustard and sat on a bed of onions (lots of onions so i can thicken the gravy)
frylite roasties and parsnips
carrots and green beans
AND
stuffing will feed up to 4 ppl and will contain 2 hex b's
how to make my fab stuffing
2x wholemeal rolls 2x hex b
1 onion chopped
dried sage 2-3 tsp
1 egg
salt and pepper
steam/sweat onion with dried sage in micro for 4 min with water
or in a pan with water for a little longer
blitz rolls in a processor or by hand into crumbs
add onions and sage to breadcrumbs and slowly add the onion water to bind
mix well and add egg and mix again
season to taste and add more sage if needed
bake in a hot oven for 1/2 hr
yummy ( and you can have half of it for 1x hex b)
you could even add some low syn sausages to the stuffing to make a sausage meat stuffing just squeese filling out of uncooked sausages mix with stuffing mix well and bake for 40 min just slice and serve with veg and maybe some mash
