Nervous Newbie to Xenical

#1
Hiya,

Started on Xenical yesterday, am actualy nervous to be fair, find myself obsessing that if I'm not successful, these tablets will be taken away lol

I'm trying to think healthy and eatting well, just wondering if any body has some advice or tips on how to get mysekf through this, once I'm weighed again and see if I have lost then I'll prob find it easier.

thanks for reading :)

Hi hun, worrying is going to make things worse, you'll start stress eating then, and you don't want that. The best thing you can do is relax, follow the rules, drink water and you'll see changes.

Start small, and you'll ge there!

Welcome to the diary room lol!
It's great to vent your thoughts on here cos the guys can pick up on your mood by your posts and give you a boost or pick you up. It's great.

Hiya, thanks everyone for the boost already, this is my 5th day feeling great already, definately drinking the water and lots of it :) My friend has also started on the xenical so even better to have a friend to chher each other on and ofcourse having the extra support of this website :)

For some reason I got this niggling feeling I might being doing something wrong, I'm eatting smaller portions and keeping them healthy and less fat ofcourse, not sure i'll believe it works until I have my first weigh in, any of you feel like that at the beggining???

Hiya,

I have been on xenical for a week now and I was so worried about starting it. Not just because of the side effects but worrying it wouldnt work. After a week I am 4lbs down and its star week and its not unusual for me to gain 7-8lbs in water so I am chuffed with the results!! Nothing happened for the first three days and i thought it wasnt going to work for me but after that I had a few of the side effects (to gross to go into lol) and the scales speak for themselves!! Good luck!!!

Hi hun, sounds like you're doing fine, you won't get side effects unless you break the rules... remember these pills aren't a cure, you have to eat and exercise for them to work to the best. ;)

You've definitely got the right idea, about doing this for yourself and changing lifestyle etc, well done! :)

The wii is a great place to start and it's so easy when you're running around after kids too! Good luck! :)
