Hi there :)
I was on Xenical for a year and it really helped me with stopping the cycle of binge eating. It also gave me the breathing space if you like, to step back and see why I binged.

wow you have done really well, i would have liked the orlistat really but my dr is of the opinion its as simple as eat less move more, which it is but i find it so blinking hard. Did you follow a particular diet? x

While on Xenical you stick to a 5% fat diet, so loads of label reading coming your way lol
Basically you want food to have no more than 5g of fat per 100g and that no meal is more than 15g of fat. I kept, and still keep a food diary, just so I could keep tabs on my fat grammes.
I'm doing Rosemary Conley now, which is the same diet, but you can also have oily fish ( which is something I was desperately missing).

I have been taking Xenical since Sunday night and have had no side effects so far. I think you only get them if you cheat ;)
