Extra Easy New and Struggling!

Hi,

I started Slimming World this Wednesday just gone.

I'm worried that I'm not eating enough throughout the day although I feel full all the time - I just seem to have a very non-existent appetite right now.

I can't remember properly what I've eaten but since Wednesday I have only had a couple of proper meals and the rest was just snacking on fruit/veg. I have managed to get my healthy extras every day and a lot of free foods but have only used a couple of syns each day.

I am a student and currently revising for an exam, could this just be down to stress?

I don't want to hinder my weight loss by making my body think it's starving but I don't want to force more food down myself than I already am.

I know when you eat fatty and rubbish foods you tend to eat more but I didn't think I would feel full all the time from eating healthy straight away.

Can anybody offer any advice? I really want to lose something at my first weigh in next week but I feel like I'm making no progress right now.

Wednesday Dinner (after first meeting) - Chorizo & Chicken with Pasta in a Tomato/Onion/Garlic sauce

Thursday -
Breakfast - wholemeal toast with butter
Lunch - Banana & Apple
Dinner - Pasta Bolognaise

Friday -
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Banana & Apple
Dinner - Leftover Pasta Bolognaise

Today -
Breakfast - Shredded wheat type thingys with soya milk and raspberries
Lunch - Beans on wholemeal toast
Dinner - Ham salad with a tablespoon of coleslaw
 
A banana and apple are certainly not enough for lunch hun! And you need to have breakfast if only 2 alpen light bars. If appetite is a problem as you say it could be through stress with exams, but try to eat a little more. Perhaps when you do eat more you may feel like more if you follow. Let us know how you go on
 
i did SW a few years ago when EE wasnt invented
just joined back and been doing EE for 4 weeks and found its just not working for me so ive gone back to red n green days and i love it
and find it much less confusing and loving the extra HE : )
 
I find sometimes you lose your appetite by not eating if that makes sense... You will also be focused on revising which will take your mind off eating, try having a mug shot or something like that which isn't too filling with your fruit to try and give your appetite a kick start I usually find I'm not hungry until I actually eat something - sounds stupid I know! Just try that at first and see how you get on also might be worth making up some batches of soup and freezing them then that's quick and easy too. But you need to be eating more than fruit for lunch if you can
