    Hello Everyone!

    Just joined today. I'm really looking for a good community of support. I have been on my weight loss journey for over a year now and I still have a long ways to go. I have lost about 40 pounds so far and still have another 30 to go. Sometimes its hard to be the only one in my life really focusing on weight loss, and sometimes it can be really over whelming. I feel like many people in my life don't understand the significance of this weight loss in my life. I've always been overweight (I'm 28 now) and I'm over it. I really just wanted to find a place where people understand and can understand the small achievements in weight loss, and how important they are in peoples lives like mine.

    Hi Tanya big welldone on your weightloss so far :) Im new to this forum but not new to dieting lol do you follow any specific plan? I understand what you mean about other people not understanding weightloss achievements my bestfriends are 2 beautiful sisters 8.5 stone & 9 stone & never been overweight ive been twice their size 16 stone ive been 10 stone,12 stone,13 stone etc.etc.. they support me no matter what but not sure they get my struggles so this site should help as everyone in the same boat at different stages of their journey

    Thanks! No I don't follow a specific plan or diet. Diets don't work for me, I really just try to eat as many fresh things as possible. I do count my calories on my fitness pal. That has helped me a lot! I go to the gym 4x a week about an hour and a half. Glad to hear somebody else understands the support thing. Good luck on your journey!
