New to slimming world and forum

Just wanted to say Hello, started Sw on Wednesday and am really enjoying it so far. Done WW before and lost 2st but found it unmaintainable (if that's a real word!)

So far slimming world seems a lot less restrictive - just nervous about the scales now!

Hoping to lose 2st 7lbs.
 
Hi, i only started back on Slimming World on thursday. I have tried WW loads of times and always give up after a few weeks so here i am trying SW again and feeling positive!! good luck. x
 
It worked for me at the time but it wasn't healthy. Now I'm older and cook properly I'm hoping Sw will teach me how to eat properly and lose some weight at the same time!
 
hi im new to it all too. i have my first week weigh in tonight and although i have tried hard this week ive still had about 40 syns worth of biscuits so dont know what to expect. i dont have scales at home so cant have a sneaky peek but that is probably a good thing. fingers crossed

Hi Im also new tp Sw had two weigh ins now and lost a total of 6lbs
I also tried WW but couldnt maintain the loss weighing and measuring food all the time did not work for me xxx

Hello!

I started SW 3 weeks ago and have only lost 2.5lb so far. Very disappointed but i know why.
Finding it hard to get my head around being able to eat so much!

Rachel dont give up my friend had no loss on the first week and 3.5lbs this week make sure ur drinkibg enough and silly things like going to loo or time of month can all effect it xxxx

I think it takes time for the body to get into letting go of stored weight sometimes. Also, maybe it doesn't seem very much to you but 2.5lbs is nearly 1lb a week. We all want to lose quickly but it's the long game and maintainance that's important. Seems like forever though, I know!! x
