Welcome to the forum and good luck with your weight loss.

My aim is to lose 10 stones - I don't care how long it takes me as long as I keep on losing, and I am getting on well thank you, the SW diet is the best as far as I'm concerned and I have tried so many diets over the years.

Good luck with your first WI.

Hiya, first of all, well done on joining SW. I LOVE IT!!!!!

My inital target is to lose 4 st 9lbs to get myself into a healthy BMI range and then I am gonna take it from there. I have never seen myself at the weight I am just now and lower (because I was very young when I was this weight last!) so I will take it from there and maybe go down another stone or half stone.
I have been with SW for 12 weeks now and have just got my 2 stone sticker so I am very pleased.

HI CLAIRE, I NEED TO LOSE around 2 st to get back to sw target ,I ve also tryed various diet too Im new to this sw team at minimins but not 2 minimins ,what Ive seen so fa r this seems a very active forum

Thanks for saying hello girls. I'm trying to get used to this forum, so many things like tickers etc and i don't know how to do any of it! Can't seem to edit my profile either - maybe just having a blonde day lol x

Hi Claire and welcome :D

When I started in January my target was 4 st 2lb. I'm now 11lb away and trying to steam ahead at it!

I've copied these from Tech,hope they help but just ask away if you're still stuck :D


:sign0144:When you are a newbie

You are in a group which has no avatar, limited signature space, no Private messaging other members, no sending email to other members and you cannot upload images to the gallery.

When you reach 20 post s's you get avatar privileges and a larger signature space and can upload images to the gallery.

When you reach 50 posts, you get even more signature space, and private messaging and emailing is enabled.

I hope you understand the privileges that you will receive for being a long term poster.

Go the website http://www.tickerfactory.com and set up a weight loss ticker by following the instructions, filling in your weight and goal, and create your own. On the finished page it gives several different versions of what to hylight and copy. Pick the BB code version , hylight it, then right click and copy.


Next go you your profile on this site, UserCP(in the blue bar above on the far left), click edit signature, and then paste it in your signature. Click save and your good to go ;)

Your tracker will now appear at the bottom of every post you have!

I have 5 1/2 stone to lose, i've done about 11lb so far. I don't tend to think of the big picture as I would get to disheartened. Good luck with your weight loss.

I've hoping to lose about 3 stone but i'm taking every day as it comes and just see how i get on. That's a big target so i'm going to make myself some mini targets x

Welcome to the forum and to SW Claire ~ it's a great eating plan and this forum is just fantastic ~ everyone is supportive and friendly and there are great recipes and tips to pick up. Looking forward to hearing how you get on xx

hello and welcome to this friendly forum. We are all in the same situation, battling away to get to target, some of us with more to lose than others but it really doesn't matter, we all help each other along. good luck on your journey:)

I am a new member here too.
I have lost four pounds in 2 weeks with SW and have 35 pounds to go to get to my target!
SW and this site are wonderful.I am sure you'll love it as much as I do! :)

hi their im laura been doin sw for 4 weeks now im on my 5th, and its the best diet ever, i really think it teaches you a whole new way of eating, (eating myself slimmer lol) i have quite alot to loose but just aim for the next stone or the half stone, that way you stay focused!
my 1st wk-6 and half lbs
2nd wk-4 and half lbs
3rd wk- 1 and half lbs
4th wk-2 and half lbs
