New today - Eeek

Hello All,

I'm brand new to MiniMins today and busy researching the best weight loss method for me. I've got about 4st to lose!

One thing I don't want is packets or soups or the like, only because I don't have the will power to stick at those.

Looking forward to "meeting" some of you guys along my weight loss journey ;)

Welcome.

I'm doing sw and find it is really good as you can eat as much as you want of certain foods and there's lots of free foods you can eat untill your hearts content xxx good luck xxx

I'm relatively new too. Currently on day 3 of week 2 and lost 12lbs as of this morning :)

I'm doing All About W8 and even though it's a meal replacement diet, you do actually get 'real' food and i'm struggling to actually eat all I'm supposed to!!

Good luck with your diet. You will get lots of support on here.

Good luck which ever you chose...I chose WW as I don't eat as much & sometimes nice things rather than lots of free foods.I had about 3.5 stone to get to goal...I joined WW two weeks ago which I've lost 5.5 so far & was "being good" 4 weeks before that by myself I've lost 12 in total...2.12 for dream goal I can't remember when I last was sure I was a teenager.keep us updated on which ever you chose.

Hi and welcome. I've been about for a wee while but was playing hooky for a few months. Am back doing a vlcd, just coming to the end of the first week of my restart. We will do this, minimins is a great site and together we will pull through.

Hi Ingers - welcome to the forums and congratulations on taking the first step to a new, healthier you. :)

One thing I will say - and please don't think I'm dismissing your concerns, just giving you a little something to think about - is that I wonder how it is you know that you don't have the willpower for a food replacement diet?

The reason I ask is that I thought that too before I started on LighterLife, and it was my brother's success on it that finally convinced me to try anyway. And I realised I couldn't have been more wrong. The soups and shakes etc don't sem like much, but after 3-4 days you simply don't feel hunger anymore.

Of course it does also depend on how supportive your friends and family are (and whether you decide to tell them or keep it personal). I'm lucky in that everyone I know has been very supportive so far, and the positive comments I'm receiving are doing wonders for my resolve.

Anyway, I'm not trying to be pushy, just sharing my experience. Whatever method you choose I'm sure will be right for you, and with the supportive environment here at Minimins I'm positive you'll succeed. Good luck!
