Extra Easy Newbie attempting to restart SW from Home.

Hi Ladies,

Im Tasha 24 and attempting to start SW again with abit more success. After having surgery on part of my thyroid I have had a right battle to lose weight. Healthy eating and gym for 1.5hours 3 times a week and not even 1lb off in 2months!
Currently at 12.9 which is better then the 14st I was after having my boy but now I am actually making effort with exercising it's sad to see NO change...so this why I have ended up here hoping to make a few fat fighting friends along the way and 'hopefully' lose a few lbs!

Hi Tasha!

Firstly well done on losing what you have so far.*

I think a lot on here, including me, find it hard to lose due to various things, for me it's hormone problems.*

Hopefully you'll find what works for you & reach your goal.

Keep us posted :) x

Have you tried measuring yourself? If you're putting in so much effort at the gym then your body will probably be changing shape even if you're not dropping the weight!

I also found that when I started exercising my losses dropped severely for 2 weeks. If exercise is a new thing for you then that may be why.

Thanks Lisa and jaq. Yes exercise is new to me took for granted a normal Woking body so to speak lol since having part of my thyroid taken out everything has gone AWOL some day I just want to stay in and binge eat lol ! I'm going to give measuring a try maybe see some change there. It's just hard findin what works for everyone. What diets do you ladies follow?
