newbie from the dark side!!!!

    Hi everyone,

    Just thought id get ideas and help from everyone on here. Ive been on slimming world for a while now and the last few weeks i havnt lost a lb so i decided tonight im going to join ww instead! i was sat there no one to talk to not loosing a lb. I remember going to my old ww class and the leader was really friendly and i met some really nice people.

    Hope this new plan is easy to follow :confused:

    How are all you newbies out there finding it??

    Welcome to the bright side! Im sure you will find the ww plan really easy once you get into it - I little tip I found worked for me was to label the food you have often with the point value on the packet or lid, that way you soon get to remember how many points are in a pitta bread, cottage cheese, fredo (opps) and saves you from keep checking the point value. Also if you have the time try and make the point free soup, on the recipe thread, and freeze half of it - great for when you want something to fill up on and you can adjust the recipe to your liking - good luck and hope ive helped a bit.

    Thanks for all your advice - good idea of labelling foods that are most likely to be in my cupboard or fridge every week. I like the sound of the plan - similar to sw but portion control, i think thats why i havnt lost any lb lately because you can eat as much as you like (that doesnt work for me obviously!!! lol)

    I found the same, SW worked for me for a while, then I realised that I couldnt find that "full" button - I was eatting healthy food, but too much of it!
    Pro Points is ace, I say give it a full month to settle in and see how you go :D 1 stone in 5 weeks, and renewed motivation.... Hope it does the same for you too!
