Well I'm a newbie to the forum but not really a newbie to SW but everytime I've done it I've not really stuck to it. It's been quite a while since I did it last too.
4 years ago I had a gastric bypass and although I've lost the majority of my weight I still have some to go. I've hit a massive plateau and I've put on a little bit after a really stressful time from nov-feb. My problem tho is I'm a very extremely bad chocoholic, due to my op I'm not tolerating some foods (breads, rice pasta, fresh veg) in the respect of them getting stuck. Another problem at the moment is I have a pretty rare side effect of the operation which means I have frequent hypoglycemia attacks bought on by carbs (no I'm not diabetic, my pancreas just creates too much insulin and doesn't know when to stop!)
Basically I really want to start losing weight and work around my current problems. Do you think SW will work? I'm going to go on the assumption that my body will accept natural carbs and not the refined stuff/sugars I keep managing to shove in my mouth *cough* chocolate *cough*
One good thing tho is I don't absorb fats and quite a lot of calories don't get absorbed either.
So yeah, hopefully some people on here who are knowledgable enough on SW are able to comment on if it will fit around me.
