Newbie-need help.

    Hi all!

    My first day on the Cambridge Diet. Really don't know how I'm going to make it to week 12!

    Just had the Chocolate Mint shake. I think I can bear the actual taste it's just the lumps that are making me gag! Did anyone else find this? :confused:

    I did mixed it well, added more water and also put it into a shaker but still v lumpy.

    Alot of people buy a hand blender - you end up with a smooth, bubbly shake rather than gritty slop.
    Mine was only a fiver from Argos.
    Good luck on the plan x x

    Yeah, a shaker never worked for me. Im not a great fan of the shakes anyway, so I mix it with just enough water in a jug, then I get a hand whisk bettween the palms of my hands and twist really fast and I never get any lumps. Give that a go!!

    I mix them to a paste with a little cold water then add gradually.

    For a change add hot (not boiling) water to the paste?

    You can get an electric blender in Tesco and Sainsbury for under £4.00 I keep one at work and one at home. If I'm out for a day I take a Tetra with me. Good luck.
