Newbie to dieting

Hi all,

I'm Dan and I'm 23. I thought I would join up here as I want to drop a bit of weight to get a bit more healthier and back down to what I used to be before I started eating lots of junk food.

I am about 201lbs at the moment and I want to drop to around 160lbs to start with and see how I feel about myself from there. I am starting the Dukan diet tomorrow as I have seen how good the results of this diet can be, so hopefully I can replicate this success.
 
Never heard of that diet, i'm intrigued so am going to Google it. Welcome to the forums! Sure you'll be at your ideal weight in no time if you remember why you're losing the weight whenever you feel tempted.

Sounds like a great idea too, to re-evaluate at 160ibs.
