Thanks to everyone who replied. I feel better knowing that there are people out there who understand how it feels to be too heavy! I agree - it doesn't matter how much or little we need to loose but it's good to know that there are others who understand. I don't talk about my weight much to hubby because he can eat loads and not put on much weight.
Am looking forward to my first week on sw - the leader explained the extra easy plan but I prefer the look of the original and green plan so I might give them a go. I'm not sure I could follow the extra easy - it looks too easy!
I have put in my profile weight in thinking it was stones and just realised it was in pounds!

Hi Sarah, thanks for your support and taking the time to reply- it is hard when you see your initial weight and seems like theres a mountain to climb but the leader said that "you never see that weight again after the first week"! I thought that was a good positive and am going to think about that.
I think 2.5lbs is a great weight loss!! and even better is that your leader said to eat more to loose even more weight. I am a bit scared of the 'free' eating e.g. can we really eat free foods between meals? but am going to try and follow the plan as it says in the book and trust that it works. I am used to diets that say small and often but I can never stick to small (although I don't have too much trouble with often!).
