Hi everybody,

My name is Kelly and I have recently had my first child. I really want to lose weight and get back to my original self. I have been to slimming world a few years ago and found it worked for a short time alright once I reached a particular weight, I stayed at that weight for months, no matter what I did to lose more. Would really appreciate any hints and tips to aid my weight loss xx

I'm also exclusively expressing milk for my daughter so am required to intake more calories to produce milk efficiently. I am thinking of following the slimming world scheme but at home as I still have all my books etc although need some motivation as being a new mum I struggle sometimes to eat properly, tending to snack at times due to high demand. On a good day however, my diet is relatively healthy xx

Aw that is excellent :) I'm trying to navigate my around and was struggling slightly due to bot being able to see my profile. Also, it doesn't tell me which threads people have replied to so I'm having to remember where I have been :/ lol I'm sure il manage it somehow! It's good to know there are others doing it at home. I didn't see the point in joining another weigh in group as my willpower is pretty strong usually plus having a newborn in the house is a difficult enough without having places to be at specific times xx

Ha ha yes I know exactly what you mean! If you do go into your UserCP and if you go down the left hand panel there is a section called show all subscriptions if you hit that it will show you where you have posted... I think. I totally agree with the SW at home - it must be difficult to have time to use the bathroom let alone get out of the house.

Good luck with everything I am sure you will be seeing the weight drop off in no time - Xx

Not stupid at all - if you go up to the top of the screen you will see a band of blue menus there is UserCP, FAQs diaries etc, if you click on UserCP you will see what I mean. X

I have just realised...my difficulty in this issue may be that I'm using the iPhone app which is simplified than the computer therefore doesn't allow all the applications to be viewed or carrie out. Think o should be fine if using the computer/laptop xx

Hi Kelly

Welcome :)

You will get nothing but help, support, motivations, tips etc on here. I have been on here a few days and love it.

you are not stupid for not being able to navigate your way round the site, I am still learning. I could not find a list of all my posts earlier, found it now but I bet I will lose it again

You do learn a lot from each other on here too. I just learnt from you that there is an iphone app for the site - going to install now - thanks

Just in case you dont know, once you get to 20 posts you can ad avatar, 50 posts you can add signature and much more. I hit 50 today! yippeee

From what I gather, when you post on a thread it automatically adds it to your subscriptions, so you can always find the threads you post in by looking at your subscriptions. you can also set additional options so that you get email notification.
Hope this helps.

Good luck with your weigh loss journey and keep us posted.

Thankyou very much :) il need all the luck I can get haha I'm hoping all will go well although still trying to juggle a baby, expressing milk and daily household chores at the same time, let alone preparing healthy meals whilst partners at work. I'm sure I will be fine with support and motivation xx
