No point nibbles

Just had to share (sorry if this has been mentioned before) but celeriac chips!

Have just eaten a bowl, if you haven't had celeriac before it is like parsnip with a celery hint.
I peel it, and cut into wedges, then cook in the oven with some frylight, garlic and black pepper on a moderate heat til soft, then blast the oven to crisp up.. and it's free... with a blob of ww mayo at 1/2 per teaspoon to dunk them in ..it's pretty tasty

Thanks DeeC - haven't come across that idea before but it's well worth a try I reckon.
 
you're welcome, you can even cook it as you would butternut squash in stews and soups.

We were introduced to it at the meeting along with Jerusalem artichokes, which are free too and can be baked like little jacket potatoes, they aren't bad either..

But back to the celeriac.. sorry to go on but it really is worth a try
