November Challenge - Anyone want to join me?

Decided to start this challenge thread for myself to give me a focus for the 30 days in November. I recently reached goal but didn't stay there for very long!

maintaining is hard! :confused:

My Challenges for November are
1. Use my cross trainer for at least 20 minutes every day (building up to 30 mins by end of 30 days)

2. Write down all syns, healthy extras and food choices (good or bad) every day

3. Try to keep under 10 syns during the week and 15 at weekends

4. 2 litres of water a day and green tea during the day

5. Record all of this here to keep me on the straight and narrow.

I will weigh myself tomorrow morning and record how far away from goal I am then and update my stats.

My normal weigh in day is Tuesday evenings but as I can't go to class tomorrow I'm afraid to leave it another week without seeing how bad things are so will weigh at home :)

This is the time to make a push and get back in target range and more importantly back into better habits before Christmas

Food for today - day 1


Heb 1 weetabix and 2 Ryvita
Hea milk in cereal and tea

Syns 11 (not bad)

20mins on crosstrainer

2 Litres of water
2 cups herbal tea

Heb 2 slices of nimble
Hea milk in tea

20Mins on crosstrainer

2.5 Litres of Water

20syns (ooops)

Bit of a crap day eating but lots me super free just too many syns :-(

Good luck with keeping it all up ... you're much better than me with the exercise ... I class a walk to the shop as my exercise for the day *lol* That or a quick blast of Just Dance ....

I love just dance! I have not been great with exercise myself but the cross trainer is just sitting there - I hope I can keep it up and it will help speed up things

I sometimes think of putting my zumba dvd on but then the red wine and TV calls ... Seems hard to motivate after a long day at work and its cold & dark ... I may keep checking in with your thread if thats ok as may help motivate me then *lol*

It may be heading downhill for me as my OH came home today saying that he'd read that red wine boosts your metabolism. Don't know if it's true but it sounds good to me *lol*

had a catch up and a laugh with my sister which involved a bottle of red wine - but otherwise happy to be keeping up the exercise :)

Day 4

crap!

Today I hurt my ankle - so no crosstrainer :-(

its an old injury and I am so annoyed!

Heb weetabix

1.5 litres of water (so far)

Ice pack for ankle 2

tomorrow has to be a better day!

No crosstrainer again bloody ankle!
