Hi!
Im Hels and im 11st 11lb and 5'2", I have been overweight/obese for a good 8 years now and (Im 33) Its really getting me down!
I have been looking on the forum at the range of diets and am leaning towards the VLCD. My DH is going to be joining me, so we are going to try and do it together. He has already seen a LL counsellor and is due to see the GP next week ready to start. I cant decide between the diets at the mo, and will need to do a bit more research.......although it will rpobably have to be the cheapest if Im going to do it with him, we cant afford for us both to do it really, but I dont want to do it with out him either!

Over the last 2 years I have developed a pattern of Binge eating. I eat in a complete blur, and sometimes dont even realise how much i have shoved in until i sit and think about it and how disgusting I am. Im alone in the evenings as my DH works away so Im home with the children. Once they have gone to bed, I pour a glass of wine and eat  I long not to be obsessed with food, and need to put this addiction behind me for things get much further down the line. I want my children to be proud of me (and their Daddy!) I have lost my 20's with being over weight I want to look good and feel good.

For the last 2 years I have always had an excuse for not loosing weight,

I have just had a baby
I have had chest infections and colds and not felt up to it
I am bored/lonely/unhappy
I have just had another baby!!
I am Breastfeeding

Im running out of them now and although I **only** have about 3 stones to loose, I am terrified of starting this diet, and am putting it off already, but I WILL be joining you all in the very near fututre, once I have decided which is the way to go. Any recommendations???

Hels x

Im thinking that the Cambridge Diet might be the way ahead for me. If I have food Im sure I will continue to binge, I think if food is taken out of the equasion I will manage it.
