Ok, Day 1!

I went to visit my CDC last night.

She was a little odd - well eccentric, but once you looked past all of that, she really is there to help me!!!

I have come into work this morning, armed with a pint glass, Summer Berry Fruit flavour (had this before and love it!), 1 sachet of choc and orance, 1 chocolate tetra brik and an electric whisk!!!! arty0011:

Apart from all the curious glances from some of my colleagues, no one has said anything and I don't want it to be made an issue out of this time either. There are far too many birthdays in this company!!!

Anyway, I am on my second pint of the morning and feel surprisingly good! I haven't had any shakes yet, but there is a chocolate tetra brik calling me from the fridge, as I :character00148:!

Good luck Mrs V. We can all do it. Just imagine if we do then the amount of lbs we would lose. Actually I am going to add it up on the October thread, that will be interesting. Can you see I have a holiday now and am procrastinating over cleaning and doing some reading. Enjoy the tetra brick

I am now on my 4th pint of water - been to the loo after every pint!!!
I have resisted the tetra brick until now - so that's it!!!

I have just tried the most amazing flavoured milk shake ever on this diet!!! The choc and orange lactose free one - yum yum!!!

I want to swap all my flavours to that one!!!

Hi Mrs V - I'm on day 1 today too! I'm not new to Cambridge but new to Minimins today and have found everyone very encouraging and the advice and support if brilliant. Good luck with your journey!

I have done CD before too. I put on all the weight I lost and more - which is usally the case when you become complacent in what you are doing!
Good luck getting through the day -the first is always the most difficult for me, then its plain sailing!

I am not into Day 2 and not having any problems....well apart from a slight fuzzy head and a rumbling tummy that I stop with another pint of water!
