i really need to get posting my recipes again just been soooo busy with my toddler and work :( but i will start posting again promise

Last night I did use total 0% lol as its what I had in but I'm treating myself to a yogurt maker when I get paid as last week I spent almost £20 on yogurt for 2 adults and a toddler (most was for me) but I cook with yog and have it as Puds and snacks too I need to cut costs

i like the idea of a yogurt maker...is there a way that you could make it syn free?? I've never used one but from what i gather you need to use milk and even if it was skimmed there would still be some syns involved :,(

My yogurt maker yogurt Is syn free .... I worked all calories out for it all and using syn app and using yogurt as one of the Free ingredients it said syn Free .... Even the bought stuff Is made with skimmed Milk it just becomes more filling once it turns into yogurt so its then syn Free if it Has the right calorie content xx

my pulled pork ......the saucy version :)

ok so as i love creating healthy versions i thought id make a bbq ish sauce for my pulled pork

its tangy sticky and tomatoey ...not quite bbq in flavour but its 100% syn free and tastes amazing had a big pile of it for lunch with lettuce (those mini ones i used them as scoops lol)and cherry tomatoes

the sauce

1 carton of passata

1 heaped tsp mustard powder

3 tbsp of balsamic vinegar but adjust to your own taste

1 tsp paprika

and a little chilli if you like

reduce all ingredients down in a pan to a thick sticky sauce add pulled pork and reduce down more if you like it really really gooey

Here it is

I'm taking BBQ bean and pulled pork jacket with cheese and salad for work tonight

Smart price beans 2 tbsp beans and a little chilli paprika and balsamic cooked slow then added the teeny bit of pulled pork I had left

I recon my entire meal is less than a quid not bad eh

ok so i got experimenting and have made a sort of panna cotta this is my recipe

it makes 6 good sized ones i make it in wine or cocktail glasses for a wow factor

1 sachet of powdered gelatine
525 ml FULL FAT MILK (3 hex a's)
300g fat free natural yog
3-4 heaped tbsp sweetener
and whateverer flavourings you fancy (vanilla or coconut essence work well)

ok so how to make it

in a small pan put the gelatine and a little water 4-5 tbsp ish then heat on low until all gelatine dissolves (a few min)

mix in 1/4 of milk and heat for a minute pour the other milk into a bowl and slowly pour the gelatine milk mix in whisking briskly

check the temperature of the milk then add the sweetener yog and flavourings

pour into moulds or glasses and refrigerate

i use defrosted frozen raspberries as you get some juice off them and just sweetened them with a little sweetener

ok so if you make 6 its only 1/2 a hex a per dessert (YES YOU READ IT RIGHT ) 1/2 A HEX A
