This is why we should only get weighed with our pharmacists. You could'nt have put on weight if you have stuck to the plan, you have probably weighed yourself at a different time? I know it's hard not to weigh at home, but it can make you feel bad, please don't feel down, just keep going until you have your first official wi,

Thanks clair, yes ive stuck to plan only had shakes, water and black coffee, no sweetner, im gonna hang on til weds, i mite be pleasantly suprised, i know that if i did eat id be devastated later on, thanks for post x

This is why in first week weighing yourself is a no no!! As the above post says IF you have 100% stuck to LT then there is NO WAY you haven't lost. Don't do anything drastic and step away from the phone and the chinese takeaway number.
Please don't weigh yourself anymore and go and get weighed on your proper wi day,i bet you will have lost.
Also it's right that if you weigh yourself later in the day then yes you will be heavier, always stick to the same time of day, pref first thing in a morn. Really hope this hasn't made you give in, you are doing so well! hth

stick with it 1st week is hard and as said the chemist scale should be what you go by, but what i did was weigh myself at home just before i went for my proper weigh in and compared the weight so i now know what the different s is but good luck and im sure you will be surprised, keep smiling:)

I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised when you have your wi, as long as you stay away from the Chinese!!!:drool:

Hang in there Janie you will prob be so surprised. We all say dont weigh during the week but I think that we all do. It can be disappointing but then sometimes its also inspirational at times. You only have a few more hours until weigh in - you can do it - you can wait til then. Carry on the diet til then - If you dont lose anything then you can give up knowing you gave it a week :D

I bet you will lose at least 5lbs :D :D

Hang on in there, I bet you will be suprised. If you weigh everyday your weight will fluctuate, don't do that it will only dishearten you.

Do not give up now having come through the worst......you have been such an inspiration & support to me when I was down yesterday and today I've just got on with it......I haven't weighed so looking forward to weigh in 1 but feel lighter...keep going we are in this together we did start same week.
