Hey guys im so confused with the carb count in onions... Whats the deal?! I cant cook without them most the time and i always chop up a spring onion for my salad too!!

Ps. Lost 3lbs last week so my fretting over kebab meat was unwarranted lol

Well done on the 3lb weight loss Dreamer...onions are high 9.9g carbs per 100g weight, which is a little onion, but scallions/spring onions are only 2.8g so I now cook with those instead. Hope this helps & good luck :D

I use shallotts. To be honest I hardly eat onions, so when I do, I just have them, they aren't going to break my carb bank
