Started LC this week after 4 weeks on Lipotrim. Quite a few times I have had severe pain in the solar plexus area after eating. Could this possibly be gall stones, with the amount of fat eaten with LC? I'm going on the Cambridge Diet, as I can't face the thought of food. It will take me till February to reach my target, but then I have to worry about it again.

I have been told that VLCDs can cause gallstones. I don't know why but someone else might. Also if you ate a lot of fatty foods in the past that will have contributed.

You should see a doctor to get a proper diagnosis on the gallstones as this condition can become agonisingly painful almost overnight. This happened to me! I felt dreadfully ill, too.

Please don't neglect these symptoms. All the best x

    Thanks for the reply. :)
I'm having a rethink over the gallstones. I've eaten everything that was in that meal since, apart from ground almonds. May have been a reaction.
