peppercorn sauce substitution

I am maklng peppercorn sauce tonight and as ive not got any creme fraiche.Could i use natural yoghurt instead

I guess it nay not be as creamy??

I found a recipe using peppercorns ..onion..worcestshire sauce..and creme fresh. Really nice.
