Peppermint and Orange Extract

Hi, Does anyone know if Peppermint Extract is the same as Essense? I cant find any essence. Want to make sure before i put some in my milkshake

Essense as far as I know is manufactured? Extract is as it says....an extract.....

Does extract have any carbs in it? Am i ok putting it in my milkshakes?

i put that and orange in mine and it didnt make any difference to my ketosis but on the whole, extract is better
