I love Pilates but would definitely say go to a class because you can easily do the moves incorrectly. Some classes are more intense depending on the teacher. I do a lovely Friday morning one then a Tuesday night one with a teacher from hell - I want to cry half way through but feel so good afterwards.

Great for making you think about posture - I hold myself much better now without thinking

I have a yogalates dvd which I must dust off and do again. It's great for your core muscles, and altho you feel it next day you don't get sweaty.
