UK Sands: Wave of Light - Oct 15th

As some of you may or may not remember one of my best friends lost her baby just 4 weeks ago at 41 weeks gestation. Baby Vanessa was born sleeping on 16th September 2008. Cause of death still unknown at this time.

Despite her personal grief my friend has so far managed to raise over £500 for SANDS (stillbirth charity) in just one week. I am not asking for money (bit cheeky lol) but I am asking that you show your support for this wonderful charity by participating in the "wave of light" by lighting a candle at 7pm

Sorry.. no lit candles here but I'd just like to express my sympathy somehow. Great topic and I think it's very good you're creating awareness here!!

I can only imagine how terrible it must be to loose a baby..
