Poem inspired by our very own mini

[Bellybee]

Hi Guys,

Mini sent me a message earlier comparing women to phoenix's rising from the ashes. It would make a beautiful picture but I can't draw so I have wrote this and be asked to post it. Am very embarrased by it's poor quality.

The earth was on fire filled with ash and smoke
Through the destruction something beautiful awoke
Life was being created anew
Something good worth clinging to

Orange and silver and wings so wide
They had no shame nothing to hide
Wonderful shimmering, free they needed the world to see
These creatures were phoenix’s real for you and me

Their message was simple and true
Be good to yourself always be you
They were the woman who had fought the good fight
Now they are free to enjoy there wondrous flight

Thanks tulips not sure its a true talent to be sure I would like to be able to write properly poems, stories etc as have always been very into that but its not easy and I always think it looks rubbish to me. To be honest I cant bear to read it as soon as I have written it.
By the way it's written for all the women of the forum as they are all beautiful and they inspired mini's words which in turn inspired the poem

That poem is so lovely, made me so sad though, cos that is how it should be, why did we have to be born and grow up with so much shame...
