pregnancy and weight watchers

Hi all

My partner and I are currently trying to conceive. I'm hoping it's going to happen soon. i was reading ww t&c's and it says you can't do it whilst pregnant. Just wondering why? Surely if it's a healthy lifestyle change, it should be fine while pregnant. maybe just upping the points as you go?

Sw allows you to attend during pregnancy, so maybe it is healthier?

Bit disappointed as i'm really getting into ww and have 2st to lose, was hoping to keep it up.

I wouldnt say SW is healthier, it just works on different principals, which are probably easier to incorporate into pregnancy. I think you have more Healthy extras when youre pregnant but SW doesnt change regardless of your weight or your losses so really its not comparible in many ways

it probably won't do you any harm loosely following the principles of ww while pregnant, its just they can't take responsibility for someone strictly following points and getting ill or causing their baby to get ill.

Just protecting themselves against the sue culture thats developed in this country I reckon. /cynicism :p
