Q on lifeline online syns online

Hi everyone,

First post so please be gentle!!

I've just re-joined slimming world and have been using lifeline online to find the syn values but have got stuck on the basic searches.

Was trying to find 'sugar' earlier and it wasn't found, then have just tried to find veg oil and that wasn't found either - just came up with some pancake syns instead! Am I doing something wrong? I click on 'Search Basic foods', but it still just doesn't seem to be finding it.

I'd be really grateful for any tips as I think it could be a really useful tool.

Oooh, and if anyone could tell me how much a tsp of veg oil is I'd be really grateful too! My books are upstairs and don't want to venture back up until I'm sure the kids are asleep!!
