Reaching Target in 2020

Day 841 - Thursday 20th August 2020
I weighed myself on my parents' scales ( not sure of it) - not registering it until I weigh at home next week.
B - Pink egg on rye bread
L - chicken curry with rice, asparagus, sugar snap, salad
D - Leftover curry from lunch with a muffin
S - Sicilian lemon cheesecake - Too dry & too sweet. Have another portion left so need to do something with it to make it more palatable , Grapefruit
F - 2 Black coffee, 1.5L water
E - 5,000 steps

Day 842 - Friday 21st August 2020
Saw a neighbour of my parents - she asked me what have I done?. what she meant was why I look so slim. Last year, she had seem me I was about 3 stone heavier. Actually, I looked in the mirror in the foyer and could not believe it was me.

I have reached a point that I only eat when I am hungry - hence no comfort eating.

B - Cottage cheese, pink egg, grapes, strawberries
L - All day breakfast (sausage, eggs, bacon, beans, chips, mushroom) - wasn't really hungry but as I was going to be out all day, I decided to have it. Also it was on special offer 50% off.
Ate some of it but did not enjoy it and did not taste of anything. It is funny how our taste buds change as we change our habits - Nothing taste the same as my overweight days.

D - 2 slices rye bread with cottage cheese sprinkled with seeds, grapes
S - Watermelon
F - Black coffee
E - 11,500 steps

S - Lychees - they were so nice & refreshing, tom, cue

L - Venison meatballs, fried onion, chili, peppers, cauliflower and bns
D - Egg & avocado salad with olive oil & balsamic dressing
S - 3 biscuits (110 cals), 4 prunes & apricot, blackberries, 2 boiled sweets
F - Black coffee, 2 Black tea
E - storm prevents me from going for a walk.

Start weight - 223 lbs (15s 13 lbs)
Current weight - 152 lbs (10s 12 lbs)
Loss to date =71 lbs

Thank god, I am back down again - lost 2 lbs over past 2 weeks.

I am desperately, trying to eat of my freezer so I can start on my clean eating. however, as my appetite has reduced, it is a very slow process. I know my eating is pretty clean but I want to improve on it by reducing meat and processed food.

B - 2 egg omelette with a little milk & chia seeds on WM toast, avocado and pickle - I used to love sweet pickle but having it after a long time, I realised how salty it tasted (or perhaps it is my clean eating head that is kicking in - haha)
L - Surf & Turf platter (chicken, salmon, brocoli, cherry tom, corn on the cob, tbs picilili, tbs chili oil)
S - Chocolate (200 cals), tbs seeds, passion fruit
F - Cookie dough coffee, 2L home made blackberry squash, 2 hazelnut coffee
E - 1,500 steps. Raining heavily all day.

L - Pasta & veg (onion, ginger, garlic, peas, pepper, pasta, chili, 2 tbs olive oil, coriander, parmesan cheese)
S - Grapes, blackberries, small portion (30gr) brownie
F - 5 black coffee, 1.5L home made blackberry squash

L - Olivier salad (chicken, potato, gherkins, boiled egg, peas and mayo) in a ciabatta roll with salad & coriander. I love this and do not mind using more mayo than usual on this occasions

Enjoyed yesterday's walk very much and hoping o go for another long walk today weather permitting. It is cold but ice & refreshing.

B - Banana & cottage cheese on WM toast with home made jam & sprinkle of seeds.
L - Chicken & veg stirfry (Chicken, ginger, garlic, tbs olive oil, chili, peas, bns, broccoli, cauliflower)
S - Pkt crisps, 2 pieces (60gr) Brownie
F - 2 Black coffee, 1.5L home made blackberry squash, Black tea
E - 8,000 steps. Not as much as I intended but was fine and I enjoyed it.

I am desperately eating out my fridge/freezer so I can turn it off for a few days, but failing miserably. Although there is not much in there but because my appetite has reduced, I can eat them fast enough.

It was a hungry day today for some odd reason - well I think because, I have been difficulty falling sleep for a couple f nights. I went out for a walk twice to avoid picking at food.
B - Avocado & cottage cheese on WM toast, sprinkled with chia seeds
L - Roast salmon roll with salad (leaves, coriander, cue, tom, beetroot, olives, gherkins)
S - Plums, banana, passion fruit, nectarine, Pkt crisps, 2 small pieces of flapjack
F - 4 Black tea, 1.5L home made blackberry squash
E - 12,000 steps

L - Boccoa - baugette filled with Italian sausage, vegetables, salad and cheese. It was really nice & filling.Think is me done eating for today.
S - Large piece of flapjack, plum
F - 4 Black tea, 2 glasses of water, 2 tea with milk, 1.5L home made blackberry squash
E - 5,500 steps due to rain

STS for me this week, which is fine. I am happy with my weight loss and I have come to a stage that looking good and confident is more important than losing weight.
At the moment, I am eating when I feel hungry and what I want and stop when I have had enough. Noticed that my portions are becoming normal to smaller size.

Today, I ate more than usual but my body needed it to flush some stubborn toxins out of my body.

B - Breakfast muffins (oats, milk, egg, blackberry jam), cottage cheese, plum, grapes
L - Venison pasta bowl (venison mince, pasta, onion, corn, courgette, coriander, parmesan cheese) - It was yummy
D - same as lunch
S - last of Brownies, yogurt with home made jam & seeds
F - 5 Black tea
E - 1,500 steps. It was raining again so not pleasant to go out. Also had a ton of work to do.

Thank you. Yes that Boccoa was really delicious and a change to a normal sandwich. I went to a pizza workshop with a friend but didn't want either a pizza or a salad so I had that. Really enjoyed it.

You seem to be doing really well. Well done on the 3 lbs loss.
 
That fruit and oats casserole has inspired my lunch tomorrow! I can always rely on you for ideas :)
It was so easy to make.
Soaked some oats in water (think I used milk as needed using), then added some blackberries and dried fruit - sometimes I use a banana for sweetness, crack and egg and mixed. Then baked in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Then if you want can serve with a dollop of yogurt and jam. I like it hot straight from the oven and felt was filling.

Try it with using whatever fruit you have. ENJOY
