You can have potato as a HEB (and don't forget you get 2 HEbs and 2HEas on red and green days) - but you have to leave the skins on to get your fibre. Check the exact measurements in your book but off the top of my head you can have 225g jacket pot or 200g new pots. I often chop my jacket pot into wedges to make a change and today I'll have my new pots boiled and made into a potato salad (with some bacon, red onion, fromage frais, e l mayo 1.5 syns and 42g of l f cheese (HEA) )

Any additional spuds, or if you want without the skin, you'll need to syn.

Thanks so much. You've been a huge help. It was confusing me why some recipe's I'd seen with potatoes were syned and some were not. Now I understand!
