Picked up the above today for 2.99, it's from the 'Inspired to Cook' range and according to my SW Food Directory is Free Food.

I'm puzzled and can't quite believe this as it has rather alot of cheesey sauce and grated cheese on it as well as a pineapple ring, that looks like it came from a tin, on each piece.

Supposedly serves 2 but I was hungry!!!

It was very tasty and looks set to be my stand by need a fix solution as it felt naughty. Especially with SW chips.

Just wondered if anyone else had tried it and thoughts on it really being Free.

Cheers.

btw sorry for crappy pic and ther was a lot more cheese sauce I just didn't use it. Could have made cheesey brocoli and cauliflower with what was left.

just had another thought as it had cheese and the sw online didn't so i puy in nutrition details in syn calculator and comes up as 10.5 syns on all. I think the one you refer to maybe just gammon/pineapple without cheese.Have another look and let me know please

Hmmm... confusing - the SW website only lists Gammon with Pineapple, which is free, but Sainsburys only lists Gammon with Cheese and Pineapple, which would be great if that were free, but I'm not sure whether Sainsburys might have changed their recipe as it looks too good to be true?

In the Sainsburys store and on the packet it's just called Gammon and Pineapple. I've e-mailed them for the definitive answer whether the recipe has changed or not, but yes too good to be true probably. Ah well I'll get away with it as an occasional treat.

According to Sainsburys the recipe has not changed since it's introduction in 2007 and there is no Gammon and Pineapple without Cheese Sauce.

So next query will have to be with SW over it

Hi I came on to ask about this and you all seem as confused as me :S

My fella picked this up and I said would eat tonight but thought I would have to save all my syns for. Like you say the website does not list cheese and says free so I used the calculator and put all info in (I listed gammon in the free food bit)... For me it came back as 10.5 on red and free on green and extra easy. I am an extra easy girl so I want to believe it but seems to good to be true!

Although the fat isn't very high considering cheese so maybe as it is a sauce it is pretty artificial?

So I guess my question is what would any of you do? ....

Thanks,
Charlotte.
