Am I on my own- I always seem to have a song playing on a loop ib my head.

Without fail, every day my internal jukebox will have video killed the radio star going round my head!

Anyone else have songs in their head for no reason (hearing in on the radio in the morning doesn't count!!)?

I have random two lines of songs which repeat over and over - which really annoys me when I've no idea what any other lines are and don't even like the song. I've no idea what triggers it, and can even just be random tunes going on (wish I could remember them to get them written down).

Yeah, I'm the same - it's normally songs I don't know all the words to, so I'm constantly singing the same line over and over again.

If you want rid of it, go to youtube, find the song, and listen to it all the way through. This usually works for me to get it 'out of the system' :D

Oh, and I wish I had normal songs in my head, but I usually don't. The more stupid or inappropriate it is, the more likely it is to get stuck in my head. :argh:

Always some rubbish playing in my head (and sometimes out of my mouth!) and why is it almost always a song that you don't even like that much! As I type its Shania Twain, which is really annoying me!!
Do you also get lyrics from everyday conversations (and feel the need to sing it back?) (which has at least switch off shania and turned it to 'bring it back, bring it back, bring it back to me' by gawd knows who!!!)
I realise that this post reads like the ramblings of a total nutter! Think I need to fill up my water bottle and crack back on with some work!!

I do this quite literally ALL day - my colleague and I sing to each other all the time (the rest of the office have got used to it now!). I really have to bit my tongue when Eileen comes into my office - it's just a matter of time before that song comes out!

I know what you mean - for days now I've had the chorus of 'Duke of Earl' playing in my head. Totally randomas I've not heard it for many years!

Hahaha! I love this thread! :D I always seem to have a song in my head...and according to my housemate's husband I will often start whistling a song for no apparent reason, and am completely unaware that I do it!

I woke up with I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts stuck in my head today...I blame it on the flu! xx

I've nearly always got a song in my head! Sometimes it's a random song that I heard at Zumba, which wasn't even in English and I don't even know the words!

What's worse though, is that apparently I hum along, and most of the time I don't even realise I'm doing it!

As soon as I woke up yesterday I had "WE GOT SOME HALF PRICE CRACKED ICE AND MILES AND MILES OF CARPET TILES, TV'S DEEP FREEZE AND DAVID BOWIE LP'S" - The 'end' theme tune from Only Fools and Horses - pity I couldn't remember any of the rest of the lyrics, so I just had these playing over and over for about 4 hours :D
