Slimming world chips

Hi I was just wondering if anyone had another receipe for chips when i do them in the oven its taken me about 45-50 mins which is to long im only using a table top oven at the min as my main oven is broken any ideas would be great

Hiya hu, I find that boiling them for a bit longer than 10 mins usually helps, and also putting them in as high up in the oven as possible at as high a temp as possible helps too... I got it down from 45 mins to 35, I used to wait for them to brown a bit but now I take them out slightly earlier and find that they're still fully cooked x

mine take about 40 mins in a normal fan oven anyway. i par boil for 5 mins then put on a preheated tray sprayed with frylight for 40 mins to get nice and crispy. some days there quicker, some days longer! But there worth the wait

Same as Honey plus I leave them to dry out on a tea towel for a bit before they go in the oven. Makes them crispy.

put them in micro first then into a high oven only takes about 10 mins

snap! thats how I make mine.

Roxy... doing it like this they are already cooked when they come out just need to brown and crisp in the oven.
