Slimming World Newbie =)

Hey guys!

I've never used a weight loss support forum before and came across this site whilst looking for some recipe ideas!

I've been trying to lose weight since the beginning of Jan (I was on the slimming world diet a year ago but due to an on-going back problem I gave up and just comfort ate) It's been going well so far! just need that little bit of extra support as my mum and sister have given up already!

I do still have my on-going back troubles but I'm determined not let it get me down and defeat me. It already holds me back from doing what I want to do!

Well anyway... I'm really looking for some buddies for support or to join a slimming team, I can't get to my local slimming world club due to my back problem :sigh:

im just trying to find something exciting for lunch! bit bored of having a jacket potato... any ideas for a green lunch? xx

mmm I love pasta n sauce's but don't have any in the cuboard today =(

I did end up having just a jacket with beans & cheese (HEA), going to try making a chicken dopiaza tonight from scratch as spices are free! chicken as HEB

I much prefer green days to red, I'm more of a rice & pasta girl than meat & veg.! x

I'm getting on ok with SW (I think!) How are you finding it? I've started a food diary, hoping it will get me on track and get some helpful advice from other members, did you find any other buddies??

Ive just written back on the other post too lol =) I don't have any buddy buddies but everyone is being really nice & helpful! have you had a lookey round the recipes part of the forum? I'm going to be attempting the roasted red pepper risotto & also the pork biryani, also found a recipe for onion bhajis but thought it might be a bit much with the biryani so will have to search for a curry too!! can't believe how much is on here, its fab! so many ideas x

Hi there,
I just joined sw this weekend...was doing ww for a while but find it hard to stop snacking...! How are you finding sw so far? Ive noticed im definately not feeling hungry and snacking on fruit covered in yoghurt has been enjoyable...will see how week pans out...! I know two people who have just joined two weeks ago and lost around 8 pounds each...hopefully be successfull like that too!
