Hi can someone tell me if homemade smoothies with fruit is free and u just count the milk and yoghurt? If you blend fruit does it stay free?

In smoothies u only add wat ur putting in with ur fruit.. Fruit is free free free

Thanks for that I wasn't sure as SW u have to count for blended fruit.

This is why I love WW!! I never liked the fact blended/cooked fruit had syns. I understand the fruit sugars change their composition when cooking etc but seriously?! I love my smoothies!! Fav is coffee and banana!

Omg really so I can also cook fruit too!! And they are still free and just count for the other ingredients !! That is good!
 
Hi Tayberry. Please can you tell me more about your banana and coffee smoothie? How much do i put in? Sounds yummy, i love milkshakes but the syrup is too many points and with skimmed milk it doesnt taste too good. Thank you, i never realised that the fruit in them was free either having done slimming world previously.

Sorry for the slow reply-been and still on holiday!! Okay, this is my recipe for the coffee and banana smoothie!!

It's 2PP for the recipe.

200mls of skimmed milk
1 ripe banana
1 heaped tsp of coffee
1/8 tsp of cinnamon
Handful of icecubes
(I add a couple of sweeteners such as Hermesetas so anyone making this will just need to adjust it to taste)


Blitz all the ingredients in a tall beaker if using a hand blender (which is what I use) or fire in a food blender that can crush ice.

That's it!!
