so it's now 73 days till I become Mrs B!, with 12lbs to go before my first dress fitting in 4 weeks hows everyone else getting on? / plans going?

I am getting married next year. Not set the date in stone yet (going to see final potential venues soon) but it'll more than likely be in November.

I've found my dress but not bought it yet - I am so behind in planning!

I have 16lbs to go until target and would imagine my T has been met in plenty of time - we would hope anyway!

I am getting married next May. I bought my dress a few months ago and was very realistic about my weight. The dress did up but was slightly snug so I know that if I only loose half a stone then that is all I los and the dress will still fit and I still looked like a princess.

We went bridesmaid dress shopping on Saturday and bought the most beautiful dresses. They are nothing like what I had pictured but as soon as they both tried it on I knew I wanted them. It was hard work though!!

I am excited but it still seems so far away...

I'm getting married in november 2011 in antigua, I've ordered dresses online but haven't liked them when they arrived.

Its too early 2 dress shop for me yet, plus I'm hoping to be a couple of cup sizes bigger when I get married so there is no point trying things on just yet

On the other side of the scale I am going to be celebrating 40 years of marriage (Ruby) in less than a month - and I wouldn't change my DH or one day of those 40 years.

All you ladies who think you will have to drug your man before you will be able to drag him down the aisle....
I was the same, mine was not interested in marriage whatsoever, but then last year, he took me away, proposed by a waterfall, and we married in the same spot the next day!! He'd planned it all without me knowing! He'd chosen my bridesmaids, my dress, hair, make up, the lot, and it was wonderful.....
So, bide your time - you never know.....
