some1 help me find a plain tasting nat yog???

hello ladies,

right im very fustrated, i rele want to make these lush recipes that include nat yog or ff like curries ect but evrytime i buy the ff or nat yog its sweet tasting. wen u cook it does it take the sweetness out of it, or can i just buy a plain tasting nat yog ? its so annoying

No reason at all except that you will need to syn it if it isn't fat free. I often syn things in my meals to make them tastier. For example I prefer to make a proper white sauce and syn the milk and flour, rather than making the SW variety which neither my OH or me particularly like.

I use the tesco one and that doesn't taste sweet

I aggre tescos is not sweet and 0% greek plain yogurt can be tart aswell

Could also try using quark which doesn't have the 'tangy' taste of yoghurt or fromage frais in my opinion.

To eat 'fresh' I buy a good make such as yeo valley as its sweeter - but if I'm cooking with it I buy the cheapest! The cheaper ones tend to be more watery though.
