Soup recipes

Aaleigha

soon to be mother of the bride
just the one for now
but as it seems soup is scientifically proven to help you keep feeling fuller for longer
I thought if we all added our recipes when we made them - it would give us all good ideas we can try and also a bigger repertoire so boredom doesnt set in

carrot and coriander serves 4 cals per portion 90

1 veg oxo
one med onion
1 potato
450g carrots
1tsp ground coriander
handful of fresh coriander
frylight

prepare and chop all veg (dont be fussy it will be blitzed)
fry onion for 5 mins add ground coriander potato and carrots fry for further 2mins add oxo and 2pts water bring to boil and simmer for 20mins or until tender

when cooked blend add the fresh coriander and save a few leaves for decoration if required

I am going to be having mine with soda bread 150 cals
and I will stir in 30g ww creme frais 23 cals
so a total main meal of 263 cals and could have the rest of the soup during the day

Yummmy! :)

Oh that sounds lovely, I love carrot and coriander soup. Thanks for that ;)

well tomorrow I am back on plan with a dd
looked in the fridge to see what soup I could make and found enough to make
spinach and orange soup

frylight
one onion finely chopped
1oz flour
1 pack spinach (washed and torn
2 oranages or 50-75ml of orange juice
7450ml of water or veggie stock
1/4 tsp nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste

sweat onion in frylight
stir in flour and slowly add the stock and orange juice
add all other ingredients and bring to boil - simmer for 5 mins blend

so simple

and at 339 cals for the whole lot I can eat plenty on a dd
