I'm starting my low carb journey today. I've always been on a diet my whole life going up and dow, but finally lost weight about 2 years ago having a balanced diet and reducing carbs, and I was happy. However the past 6 months ago it's been creeping back on and I need to take action. I'm planning on doing a vlcd for 2-3 weeks to kickstart the diet, then carrying on low carb/ 5:2 diet using the vlcd packs until I hit goal weight again. Then carrying on low carb as a general lifestyle choice (it's a shame carbs are my most favourite thing! But they aren't good for me )
Has anyone done anything similar? Any words of wisdom or encouragement are greatly appreciated.
