Hi and welcome. If you read the sticky for new users at the top of the page (see here it will help you loads. The general idea is don't eat any food that contains more than 5g of TOTAL fat per 100g and no more than 15g of fat per meal. Have a read around the forum, especially in the diary section to get an idea of what people eat. Good luck and post often, it really helps to keep you on the straight and narrow.
You'll only have side effects if you don't stya within the rules. Great thread here for new starters , but basically, all food you eat should ideally be no more than 5% fat ( that is 5g of TOTAL fat content per 100g of food product) and that you should have no more than 15g per meal.

i have been reading through that thread and some great stories and advice there. will be taking it all on board. my problem is will power. usually keep a diet up for a few days and then slip so hoping that, and this may sound odd, but hoping that by taking these tablets the nasty side effects will help keep me on the straight and narrow with will power
i am going to stay within the rules of fat per 100g but my problem like many is will power. i go on a diet and only last a few days then lapse back in to old habits. i am hoping that all the unpleasant side effects will help keep me on the straight and narrow
Hi, welcome to the forum! I'm relatively new, although I was using a different account on here last year when I first tried Xenical. I'm starting to take them in the next few days once I've been to Tesco to get some new healthy food. It doesn't sound odd that the side effects will keep you on the straight and narrow, I was the same! Every time I slipped up and ate something I shouldn't have, I still took the pill and I experienced the side effects and then it spurred me on to not slip up again. Good luck
