stomach excercises

so even though im losing the weight my stomach and love handles dont seem to be going down, i put this down to the birth of my son nearly 10months ago who was a whopping 9lb 7oz!
does anyone know any good toning excercises i could do to help this without it effecting my weight loss as when i excercised on my 2nd week i only lost 1lb! xx

I invested in an abs cruncher 35 pounds from jjb sports it appears to be working, unless its the diet as well. also read that Green Tea is good for tackling stomach fat so that might be worth a try.

I have been doing Pilates, its fab and hurts so it must be working :D wish the stretch marks would go with the weight lol

I can't get rid of my tummy and my youngest is 11!!!!!! A friend told me the only effective exercise was sit ups. I do some every morning and, although I know my tummy muscles are getting stronger, my tummy still looks horrible! However you are much younger than me so I'm sure you will have better results!

Lol! She-Ra, if you find an way to get rid of those pesky stretch marks please share it!!!!!

You should see my tummy!!!! I have had a huge fold of skin since forever!!! Cant get rid of it no matter what, even when i was 9 stone still had it. surgery for me im afraid, but that is long time from now...I think sit ups help the abs but for the love handles, these are the hardest to get rid of. pilates is pretty good for target areas.

yea a great one is lyin on the floor back legs and arms straight and then lift your legs about 15 inches off the floor hold for about 1 min then down then repeat for about 5 mins build yourself up till you can do about 15 mins + a girl i know who is the teacher at the gym that does the classes told me this have a go let me know how you get on xxx
