Hi everyone, started Atkins today. No doubt will be a bit hit and miss to start with so any suggestions or tips on where I am going wrong will be gratefully received

Breakfast
2 M&S chipolata sausages (93% meat) - 1 carb, 2 slices bacon and egg, all fried

Lunch
Tinned red salmon, cucumber, cheese and a couple of slices of beetroot (know they are not strictly first phase of atkins but dont know anything else in the way of salad stuff apart from the cucumber)

Dinner
Supposed to be going to a charity quiz where food is included but not sure what we are going to be getting so think maybe I will make a cheese omelette before I go just in case its the wrong food - it will at least keep me going til I get home

Good plan to eat ahead - hubby and I often do that when we are out to party (vs restaurant) - willpower doesn't exist when you are hungry!
 
Thanks for the welcome.

I did have a cheese omelette cooked in butter before I went out. There was a pork roast so just had a small plate of pork while everyone else had bread rolls, stuffing, etc. Mind you, did have some crackling, it was lovely.

It was for charity and they raised a lot of money so all good
