Is sugar free jam syn free. ?Today I picked up some peach jam. It is without sugar or fructos. There are 35 calories in 100 grms and the whole jar is only 380 grms.

Also I have found fat and sugar free yogurts that contain 43 calories. 4 of them is half the price of one Muller light because they are made here. The flavours are very basic but delicious. Do I syn
these ?

I went to Iceland armed with my list of Iceland syn free foods and only found the sliced lamb. I left the list with the girl on that section and she is going to request they order them. No colemans cheese sauce mix either grrrrrrrr.

regarding yogurts most 0.1 grams of fat yogs are syn free!!

jam reduced sugar is 0.5 syns for a tsp!!

normal jam is also 0.5 syns per tsp!!!
Basic/Non Branded Foods Jam, reduced sugar 1 level tsp

½ Syn on Extra Easy

Original ½ Syn

Green ½ Syn

it does state on s.w website as 0.5 syns per tsp too.

up to u hun how you wanna do it as it easier i think to go by tsp u no where u are then.

100 grams is around 9-10 tsp's aint it?

hmmm how does that then work out at 2syns?

i sometimes dont trust that calulator i once put asda's chick pea dyhal(which is free) and it came back as syns!!!

These products are both Spanish and both the same supermarkets own brand.

Here goes.............. first the jam.

all per 100 grms

Calories..............35
protiens.............0.4g
carbohydrates....9.5g
fat...................0.1g
fibre................2.0g.
sodium............0.0g.


Next the yogurts.................

this is per 125g pot.

calories................43/46 depending on flavour.
protien.................5.4g
carbohydrates.......6.0g
from natural sugar.5.6g
fats.....................0.1g
fibre....................0.0g
sodium................0.5g.

The sugar content of both is sugar that is found naturally in the fruit used and in the case of the yogurt in the milk too.

How many grams is the whole of the jam hun?

the yogurts if taken as the 46 cal are 3 syns each
and 2.5 syns for the 43 cal ones!!

why is it coming back as different on my online cal then allie?

What are u typying in?

did u put portion/package size as 100g?

it suppose to be the whole size not just 100g aint it?

when i put all the info in for the yogurts it came back as syns!!!

The whole pot of jams is only about 7 syns yeah !!!!!

I do not eat a lot of jam but sometimes as a "sweet fix" it is great on a ryvita, from ones allowance of course............

i went on the no free food bit!!!
and it came back as syns!!
