Extra Easy Superfree question

If I have burger and chips for dinner tonight what could my 1/3 be? I know I could have salad but I want to add more veg to my diet

Oooooh corn on the cob :)

Think I will get some wholemeal rolls and make a mushroom and onion burger fan ideas thanks

When I have burger and chips for tea I usually serve it with loads of homemade coleslaw and salsa.

For the coleslaw, grate half a white cabbage, 1 carrot and roughly slice an onion. Combine all of the ingredients together with FF natural fromage frais and Quark. Also lovely with a HExB of grated cheese mixed in, mmm cheesy coleslaw!

For the salsa, chop 1 red pepper and 1 red onion, and add to half a tin of chopped tomatoes. Add chilli to taste, easy peasy!
 
How about coleslaw, or some roasted veg or even some corn on the cobbs ???
although corn on the cob is a tasty accompneyment sadly corn is not superfree and wont count towards your 1/3 sf another few to watch out for that arent superfree are peas and parsnips too but they are still free so still good
 
i tend to have salad and loads of cherry toms with my burgers as its fab although the other day i had carrot batons and hummus with one and doused my burger in homemade syn free salsa(which was superfree)
 
How about making your chips with butternut squash instead of potatoes? I had them last night and they were lovely
 
You could have sliced tomatoes, frylight fried mushrooms and onions, pickled beetroot and pickled onions!! As you can see by the variations I have thought of I LOVE burger and chips lol although I use meat free asda ones as I don't like mince!

Baby whole sweetcorn is Superfree (and Speed food too). . Not quite the same as gnawing on a whole cob but delish all the same & can be used as 1/3rd SF.
