SW Chips

Hi Milkshake, airfryers are made by Phillips, and they're like a deep fat fryer without the oil. I love mine, but then I love my kitchen gadgets. They only take 15 minutes in the airfryer.

That sounds amazing - does it work well?!

I also boil my chips first, then leave for 10 minutes - then bake in oven covered in frylight. nom nom.
Also - if you like the chips, deffo try the crisps! OMG - sooo nice. only been on slimming world a week, never thought i could eat crisps on a diet! x

How do you make the crisps?!

What potatoes are you all using?
My sw chips just end up soggy, I've tried all different methods (apart from the microwave method)
I was wondering if it was down to the potatoes it's self being a wet variety.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I dont use any particular kind just whatever I pick up at Asda or Morrisons. They do recommend Maris Piper to make the best ones, but mine are lovely

I've been using new potatoes; £1.90 for 2.5kg @ tesco. Skins left in & cut into weggies, plopped into the actifrier - was lovely with the BBQ & salad last night! Mmmmm!

Hhhmmm, I'll blame my oven then!

Will give then ago with Maris Pipers, I've just been using 'jacket potato' spuds!

Thanks
