I bought a microwave crisp maker from ebay. I try not to use it often though, as it can be seen as a misuse of free foods. I limit it to once a fortnight.

what happens if you misuse free foods? Do you gain weight?

Ive had chips twice in a row :eek:

finely slice the potato, soak for a while to get rid of starch, lay on paper towel to dry, either stand them in a Betterware crisp maker & microwave or lay them on a frylighted baking sheet and bake briefly (cover with sweet paprika/salt/pepper/chilli before cooking too etc)

YUM!
